I bought lots of Winter Gifts and I saw that I have gotten 2 Lumps of Charcoal. They are worth 370 gold each. So, buy Winter Gifts and you may find an ecto!

I bought one and only got one of those snowman thingies. I think those candy canes are a better investment in the long run.

I just can't imagine the ANet will allow this to continue past XMas, but they didn't nerf any of the Halloween items, so I'm gonna take this gamble.

Maybe this is their version of the "healing potion"....

By the way, I was sure hoping that the collectors would take Alpine Seeds, seeing that I have a giant horde of these I've been saving.

At least my 200 or so Stone Summit Badges (we don't need no stinkin' badges) will be put to a good use FINALLY...

per halloween I kept those, char carvings (had yet another character coming thru) and other stuff thinking there might be a pattern here - yay

kudos for GW giving Ascalon a face-lift too, got my wife to LA but nice to see something there for those just getting going this time around (she wasn't far enough come halloween)

hmm on that note I dont have the slots, maybe I'll borrow one of hers - any pre-sear wintersday?

They dropped to me while I farmed griffons outside Augury. Also I'm pretty sure they drop everywhere.

last night, when i had possibly the first Candy Cane Sword and Candy Cane Axe on American servers...wow
i got so many pms with 'where did you get that' 'can i see?' 'where is the crafter'
ended up being able to sell a sword for 55k, trade an axe for a 13% enchanted chaos axe (10/10 sunder, 20% ench) and traded my second sword for a gold unid fellblade (10 req)

The presents from priests will only give you tame stuff, the three collectibles and candy cane shards once in a while.

The necromancers will give you the same, except that their presents sometimes explode and sometimes give you lumps of charcoal.

well, now that everyone has the candy cane weapons there useless, although I plan on keeping 2 of each for about 6 months to see how they sell in summer ^^ . So gj on getting about 100k from them. WHY CAN'T THEY COME OUT AT THE SAME TIME WORLDWIDE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?
